Theoretically, you could write a SQL parser/interpreter in VBA, but no.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
Yeah, I just discovered that you can run queries against external data (in SQL Server), but that's it.
I think a lot of people use spreadsheets (especially Excel) for data that a database would be more suitable for. Which is understandable, as I think there are a lot more people with spreadsheet experiance than database experience.

Also, Excel is cheaper.
Conjecture about what Apple will announce tomorrow. The last one made me laugh out loud.
Hee. I really like the look of the MacTablet Pro, even if it is imaginary.
I want a Mac Tablet so. damned. much. I have one of the Toshiba Tablets and it's great. I really really really want that with OS X. It's so much nicer when I have to make adjustments to a system and am wandering an entire facility.
It would be doubly cool with the integrated video hard/software too.
Okay, just looked at those pictures--I totally want a mac pda. And/or a mac tablet. Rawr.
okay, I have an Itunes question.
When you uncheck a selection in Itunes on your computer (that you sync regularly with your ipod), what happens? Does that item get removed from the Itunes library? removed from the Ipod? Both?
Does it affect whether or not it plays, but remains in the library? I fucked this up a couple of years ago, but I don't remember what I did.

It's not removed from the system.
You can set up smart playlists so they only play checked material. Also, if you're one of those weird people that plays their entire collection, unchecked stuff doesn't play. I have all my podcasts and spoken word stuff unchecked so it doesn't pop up unexpectedly when I'm expecting music.
