I think I might have to do that. My Mini is normally connected to my Plasma TV, but I think I'll have to pick up one of those screen spitters. If nothing else it would be really cool on my Powerbook. I could have three screens running at the tech table.

The ADB keyboard in the picture made me wonder, until I found out they use a USB-ADB adapter, because the guy likes the tactile feel of the old kb.

Yeah, that particular model of keyboard is very hard to touch in terms of tactile feedback. I used to have 5 or 6 of them. I'm sure I still have a couple. The new Apple keyboard suck, pure and simple. I have switched to the keyboards that use the same keyswitch mechanisms as laptop keyboards. I've gotten so used to the short throw of laptop keys that this seems more natural to me now.

The ELP laser turntable reads LPs with lasers -- the manufacturer claims that the lasers can read "virgin" parts of the grooves that haven't been touched by needles and produce a better sound, and that the five laser read-head lets you skip forward and back across or within tracks as you would with a CD.
Cool! I need a new turntable.
Some major manufacturer was gonna come out with something like this in the early '80s, but they cancelled their plans when CDs became popular. IIRC it was supposed to cost about $1,500 back in the early '80s. This one starts at $14,999... bastards!
