Okay, so I was able to get the side panel off of my tower and can tell where my on/off button should be, but I cannot get the front off or the other side.
I don't see any other screws -- how much force is generally needed to pull the cover apart? I mean, should I be using the claw part of my claw hammer?
Usually the cover will slide off somewhat before it can be pulled off completely. It's often not obvious which way to slide it.
Hmmm... there must be an online guide to getting case covers off. If I get some free time I'll look....
Has anybody run into trouble with podcasts not being erased from their iPods? I update my iPod just about every day, so that I can have a fresh bunch of songs on my "Not Recent" smartlist, and I just noticed that I have like 100 podcasts, when in reality I've been deleting them out of iTunes and should have about 30 to choose from.
I'm not sure what to do about this. Blank out my iPod and load everything all over again?
The default setting is to keep all podcasts, but you can change it to "keep only unplayed" or "most 5 recent" (etc) by going into iPod Preferences in iTunes.

Oooh - new tip. I didn't know that. Very handy.
I *just* figured out you can organize your playlists into folders and subfolders with the newest versions of iTunes. Which I have wished for for a long time.

I love that feature. However, playlists are not organized this way on an iPod, so if you have a bazillion playlists you still have to scroll through them on an iPod.

Exactly, must be.
Sumi, is your machine a brand name, or the case itself? Sometimes there are specific instructions at the Mfgr websites.
Thanks, Jessica! I was worried I'd somehow broken it or something. I also had nightmares of my poor little Mini filled to the brim with podcasts I'd heard already....

Oh. That sucks. That's where all my playlists live.
