Jon,
that sounds very useful. I'll have to try it out.

The rumble that I've been hearing locally is that Jobs may actually end up as the Chairman of Disney's Board. Nothing confirmed yet but THAT would be quite a power position.
One news report said that he will be the largest single stockholder, (even at the aforementioned percentage? We'll see.)
I guess we'll just have to wait.
Yes, at that percentage he will be the largest single stockholder. He will just be very far from holding a controlling share. Two very different things.
indeed.
I wonder if we'll be seeing some Disney movies in the iTunes store....
I'd say we will. Iger has made it one of his personal missions to patch up the rift Eisner caused between Apple and Disney.
Does anybody have any recommendations for a netmeeting-type thing? I'd rather it be a hosted website, like here or WX, but a downloadable program is acceptible (if it's cheap!).
What I'm looking for is something where multiple people have have a real-time conversation via typing, with user icons and application sharing.
I don't even really know what search terms to use for this.
What about netmeeting by Microsoft? It's free.
I don't know if it works on XP though. Which would be weird.
I've been using netmeeting for this, and it's okay, but does have some problems and limitations with XP, mostly having to do with stable connections. And it doesn't allow user icons or any other way to differentiate users in the chat window (other than name), which is a feature that several of my users really want.
Cute article.
