I thought that the 60 gig ipod came out in November or December.
Yep. It was an original part of the video line.
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

What about the rumored new Intel iBooks?
I doubt there will be new iPods, since they did the extra-special out-of-expo-season launch of the video ones.
Bah.
Maybe I should sell my 40 Gig 3rd Gen iPod and buy a 60. Here's one like mine on eBay [link] that's currently going for $250, which is more than I thought it would go for....
This item is in great condition with no scratches. I have always kept it in the leather case. I bought it new in April and have uploaded 7,000 songs. I can provide a list of them to you if you like in Excel. I am a big prog rock ran (Rush, Queensryche, Genesis, Floyd, Roger Waters, The Who, etc.) but have a ton of other stuff - Metal, R&B, Sountrack, World, etc. You could easily buy this for the music and transfer it from the iPod to the computer through a utility such as anapod explorer (www.redchairsoftware.com) that works quite well.
Huh. Naughty naughty naughty....
That's what I'm hoping to hear, Jess. That, or intel minis.
Jobs usually saves the good stuff for the end of the talk.

Nothin' yet....

Huh - I thought it was earlier....
Maybe I was hoping for 80 when the 60 came out....
I am glad to hear about 3rd-party DVD burner support.
Someone link me to the live feed I assume y'all are listening to?
I want to say there was a 60GB in the earlier generations, which was then dropped for 4G, and came back in 5G.
