Does anyone know of a good guide/description to what ethernet routers and switches are/do that might be good for a non-tech savy lawyer?
Do you mean like how to use them in your home to hook to Broadband or like in general?

Hey. New board.
The hard drive upgrade went remarkably well. I now have 100 GB of very quiet 5400 RPM disk space where I used to have 20 GB of 4200 RPM loud disk space. Shoulda been willing to void the warranty YEARs ago! (just kidding, then i'd have been screwed when my logic board died last year.)
