It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

What the heck is ASCII character 11 (vertical tab) typically used for?

ASCII porn.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Somewhere, somehow I frelled my bluetooth modem connection between my Palm T5 and my Motorola V3. In order to fix this, I wanted to delete the phone/bluetooth device configs, and start from scratch.

Can't work out how! I've deleted it from the trusted device list, but that's not enough for me to be comfortable. I hate troubleshooting from mid-mess.

Any answers out there?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Man. I wonder if HBO is going to do the same thing for "The Wire" and "Sopranos."

I might need to fire up my usenet account.

Hey. New board.

keyboard has gone psycho. Apparently x and 5 are connected now - Typing either gives me "x5". Similarly m7 and 8w and when I press the spacebar it spaces 5 times and I can't type until it's done. Currently copy-and-pasting spaces.

It's a M&icrosoft Natural *Wireless Keyboard (hmm, the M& and *W are new discoveries). Any ideas on something I can do to correct it? Don't have a spare lying around.

P.S. Definitely the keyboard not the computer, does same plugged into laptop.

ETA: Hmm. It fixed itself. Yay!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Am I correct in my assessment that it's not particularly possible to have my printer on the network without having it attached to my compter at the time?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You can do it if the printer has an ethernet port, or if you have an independent print server that you can attach it to.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yeah, not so much. Just the USB and parallel ports. And I've just got the router.

For Epson printers there's a box you can buy with ethernet on one end and parallel on the other. Works great.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ah. Cool. Thanks.

Costs more than its worth for me, though. But, good to know
