Advanced iPod cassette adapter -- allows your tape deck controls to control the iPod, a little. Which is cool. If you have the right iPod.
Oh, that's cool. 'Cause we haven't had great luck with the FM adapters.
The stereo (and it has a cd player, not a tape deck, so I can't use the adapter) in my new van is a little wonky. Like, it stopped when I went over a bump once. And I don't mean a disc skipped; I mean, the radio stopped playing momentarily. And I don't mean in a moment, I mean for a moment.
Anyway. So I'm thinking about replacing it when I work up the jack, and I think I want to get an Aiwa, because those tend to have 1/8th inch auxiliary jacks, so I could plug my player straight into the system instead of diddling around with transmitters and adapters.
Now, when I've traded up to a car with a CD player, they come out with a better cassette adapter. Le Sigh
Oh, Emily-- I don't suppose you have any of those FM transmitters still around that I could borrow to see if they work?
Not Emily, but, she has one that sometimes work and sometimes doesn't... I'm sure she'd let you borrow it, though.
I'm just wondering, since my radio is newer and spiffier, (My new car likes carrots....) if it would work for me. I have a non-fancy cassette adapter (and a CD player) that I can loan her in its temporary stead.
Does anyone know where in Apple Mail one changes the little icon associated w/ one's account? Mine changed on its own automatically after my recent computer meltdown, and I'd like to change it back.
If you mean in e-mail, you can change your photo/icon in Address Book under the entry with your name.
If you mean the icon associated with your account on the computer, that is in System Preferences/Accounts.
