All is well that ends in pizza.

suprnova is back

Oddly I can't get there without adding www. to the address.

It might be a part of the propagating lag.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Wolfram,

if you want to get a bit fancy, you can put an excel table in a Word document and when you open the Word document it will check with Excel to see if you have updated said document.

I found this feature very cool, but I only have used it once.

How do you do that?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Go to Word help and look for linked and embedded objects

that should help walk you through it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Go to Insert / Object. From there it's pretty simple.

If you select the "Link to file" option, your changes to the Excel spreadsheet done outside of Word will be reflected in the Word doc.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

or do what tommy says.

I think the Word help is pretty decent on this because it does a nice job explaining linking and embedding and the differences in outcomes.

I will check it out. I hate that Microsoft Word has so many cool toys. I feel like The Joker.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

ION, Firefox users are smarter (at least about ignoring online ads)

And that link, of course, takes you to a site that pops up a big ad.
