Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
For God's sake, don't use Network Solutions. They are eviler than the evilest evil thing that's evil.
Yeah, been there, done that, barely escaped with my sanity intact.

Wow, that takes inner strength.
Can you reboot an iPod? Mine froze again, and I don't really want to wait until the juice runs out.
Thanks!
- Connect your iPod to the Apple iPod Power Adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect your iPod to your Mac's built-in FireWire port
- Toggle the Hold switch on and off (slide it to Hold and then turn it off again)
- Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons until the Apple/iPod logo appears (about 6 to 10 seconds). You may need to repeat this step
Looks like I'll need to go back to my car to do it.
It usually takes me a couple of tries, by the way.
All you need to do is hold down the Play and Menu buttons. The other steps are useless.
Anyone got any recommendations for a wireless router? I have DSL and a new Dell Inspiron 700M.
