This computer has a 20" LCD and a 17" CRT, soon the 17" will be replaced with a 23" LCD. There is no such thing as too much screen.

I agree. I have two 17" LCDs connected via a dual graphics card. Very cool. It's nice to have two maximized windows open for certain tasks.
Try Add/Remove Hardware and reinstall the mouse drivers?
