Sounds like the hotel has multiple wifi routers, and they might need to have someone reset the one nearest you...
I know it's a dumb question, but have you reported it to the management?
Yup. They shrugged. ND was not amused.

I agree. It sounds like the Ethernet side of the WAP is misbehaving.
The answer from management was "Oh yes, we know, WiFi works in the courtyard, we haven't worked it out in the rooms yet, so we're not letting folks do that."
This despite the fact we asked more than once about WiFi in this hotel and it was a criteria for choosing the hotel.
Sigh.
So, Mac people, I remember a few weeks ago there was some kind up update thingy that screwed everyone's torrenting up. What's the preferred OSX torrent client these days? Stil Azureus?
Jess, I'm running Azureus right now, and it seems to be pretty good.
And you can find comic torrents where?
Try demonoid.com. It's hit-or-miss, like going to a used bookstore, but they have a lot.
I've got about 20 porn videos on my computer that I didn't download. I happened to find them in my "my music" folder today when transfering some music over to my other computer. Any idea how they might have gotten there?
Divine intervention?
