A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Can you do anything with only 128MB RAM these days?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Can you do anything with only 128MB RAM these days?

I'd pretty much just need it for DVDs and running a browser. Maybe Firefox or some other non-IE browser that doesn't take as much RAM as Mozilla.

Still not sure if it's worth even spending $528 just so I won't be without a laptop for a month....

eta: Didn't Walmart have some cheapo laptop that came with a version of Linux?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

tommy, that looks to be the same one Wolfram bought last year.

Our wings are not tired

I'm annoyed that Digi won't be supporting the 001 in further PT updates. Is that why you got the 002?

It wasn't the immediate cause, no. Though it does play in, I plan to get a G5 later this year and will need to move to a 002 at that point, though I may buy another one that's not the rack version for that task.

This one is replacing/supplementing one of my mBoxes. I'm doing work in Space Mountain where I need the multiple outputs and the real +4dBu output on the 002, so this one is mounted in a padded portable case and goes with me on site for hookup to my powerbook.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am not even sure I can explain this problem.

I have a graphic that I need print out on labels.

Currently, I am placing the graphic onto a label layout in Microsoft Word.

First, the designer gave me a .pdf for a graphic, but when I placed that it got pixelated.

Now I have both th original Illustrator document and and eps file BUT

the designer has don sort of a strange thing. The graphics are buisness card siz, and he has them laid out as such, but there are graphics hanging over the edge of the business card that he has covered up with white boxes. When the file exports for rps, it exports the white boxes, too, and now the graphic is too small for my labels.

Is there anyway to cut off the stuff overhanging the size I want? Is there anyway to only export the document size? It is like I want to Crop, but there is no crop tool in illustrator. If I do it in photoshop, it just seems to mess up the image enormously.

Help!

Ok- I solved my own problem, I think, but it seems like there should be an easier way to do it. What there were was 7 or 8 circles that hung off the edge. I made a rectangle, covered the area of that particulatr circle that I wanted to keep and used the pathfinder>crop tool. Since help said that crop discarded that part that was hidden, this seems like it shouldn't work, but it did.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I want to put a set of web pages on a CD. I'd like to have the first page load automatically when the CD is inserted into the computer. I'd like this to work for Mac and PC. Is there an easy way to do this?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not sure how current this autostart info is...

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Can't do it on a Mac. The best you can do is open a folder.

Huh. So is the linked info incorrect, out of date, or misleading?
