Was THAT ever the wrong thread.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It was technology related.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Flickr just upgraded their service, too. I'm now signed up for four years: [link]

I downloaded a bunch of photos to flickr. When I try to edit the photo title and description, it doesn't seem to save. I add/edit the info and click "save", but when I reload the photo, the new info doesn't appear. Any suggestions? This happens in both Firefox and IE on WinXP.

Flickr occasionally has problems with their database replication, so your change might not be available immediately. (It just worked for me, though). Have you tried going to the photo's page and clicking on the title?

No, it never took. But I'm trying again and now it's working. Go figure.

Hitachi has this odd animation on their site. It's like a Schoolhouse Rock about perpendicular recording technology.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Whoa. Good thing I already bought Studio. Adobe's non-profit donation guidelines are a lot tougher than Macromedia's.

I don't even know what questions to ask.

Ask you new neighbors about the cable modem service. If they have no complaints, it's the way to go.

My house is at the very end of the cable loop for the neighborhood, so the performance and reliability are poor. I really pity the folks who use it for the voice service.

Our wings are not tired.

I am still on DSL. The cable is much faster here, but during last year's mulitiple hurricanes the cable people were down forever while I had my service. I'm hoping that they improved with the zillion miles of new cable they had to run, but I don't quite trust them yet.
