ita - let me know if you local Goodwill accepts a used monitor. Cause none of our local charities does (including our local Goodwill), at least not for free. There is one charity that will accept them on Tuesdays for a 15 dollar charge.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gar, I went with the Tech Soup recommendation.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

What's that fancy photo album website that all the kids are using these days? And by all the kids I mean Scola.

Not Yahoo. Not Ofoto.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

So. Any thoughts as to whether I should use cable or DSL for internet at my new house? I don't even know what questions to ask.

I dropped my DSL for cable, and when it's up, much faster than DSL. And not down more than the DSL either.

I downloaded a bunch of photos to flickr. When I try to edit the photo title and description, it doesn't seem to save. I add/edit the info and click "save", but when I reload the photo, the new info doesn't appear. Any suggestions? This happens in both Firefox and IE on WinXP.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Same here.

The only thing to watch out for with cable internet is that some ISPs will charge you per IP address. (I picked Earthlink over Road Runner purely on that basis.)
