DCJ, that's a different site (which you might already know). I like the one I mentioned because it's simple to navigate and it's been around forever. They only do television, specifically current stuff.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I guess my main objection is that tvtorrents.com is a login site that makes you register.

As far as I know, tvtorrents.tv and btefnet have been around longer and do not require a login, credits, or have glitzy ads.

They also only do TV shows.

If I only had a brain...

I torrented it. Thanks, all.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Just don't download the Lost ep18 from btefnet. They claim it is watchable but my friend downloaded it and said it is, in fact, watchable ... if you don't mind black screens and large green blocks covering most of the screen at random intervals. ThePirateBay.org has a different copy of ep18. It's supposedly 5.1 audio so the file size is 700mb but it looks and plays perfectly.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Deena,

I use tvtorrents.tv - which used to be tvtorrents.net I think. I have never used a site that required a login.

It did seem odd to have to log in when I first went there, but, many moons ago, it was the only site I could find a particular show. They've never used my login information for anything other than being sure that I'm uploading as much as I'm downloading. They've got quite a little community going, with chatting and stuff. I've gotten used to them, I guess. The ads are fairly recent. The guy who runs the site had to do some major upgrades and the donations weren't coming in for it.

I'm not saying anyone else should use it, just that it's not a bad place to find stuff.

I downloaded the same 350 MB file and get a nice crisp clear picture.

That means he doesn't have the correct or an up-to-date codec. If you don't want to update to a new codec, Try VLC player [link] instead.

Hey Jessica!

Someone on another board I am on was asking if anyone had experiences with VOIP, and I relayed to her what you said about sound quality, and she was wondering if she could get a quote from you. I sent an email to your profile addy with more details.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Web browser forensics. Interesting, if you're interested in web browser forensics. Or if you're curious as to that it would take to prove or disprove you've been up to naughtiness.

Daniel ... I've been using VLC for a few months and turned him onto it. He tried that and a few other programs but the video was rooted in all of them. Weird.
