Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tom, if no one else wants it, I can swap it in for the PII-350 on my #2 machine.

DX, If you send me your address I'll send the CPU off to you in the next few days.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

ita, I've just switched from Eudora/Spaminex (sp?) to Thunderbird (part of my switching to the PowerBook as my main machine, so that we can disassemble the office), and I'll let you know how it goes.

I was the one who originally asked, so let me know how it goes too. ;^)

Hey. New board.

After i started getting Firefox popups again, I installed the Adblock extension and an Updated Filter List for it, and they've stopped.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

FYI, there is a new worm variant (W32/Bropia.worm.p, although I've also seen it was .j and .i extensions) that is propagating through MSN Messenger.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Has the Web gone nuts? Every second time I try to click a link, I get "(site) not found" back from the DNS.

Do I have a virus?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I dunno. I'm about to trash a computer at work that got hijacked beyond belief this afternoon.

I dunno if viruses do that. I suppose why not....

If I were you, I'd check what your current DNS servers are. Make sure they belong to your ISP.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

That sounds like strong kung fu. How do I do that ?

Which part? I'm guessing you mean the second? Use Whois. Or there are sites that let you look up the owner of an IP address - here's one: [link]

You can find your current DNS servers, right? (Even if they're set dynamicly you should be able to get them. Depends on the OS where you look.)
