Allyson -- that might be that someone (or ones) with your e-mail address in their addressbook has been hit by some sort of virus. Try googling an exact sentence from the e-mail and see if it turns up any informative hits.

I've had that happen, Allyson, but I decided it was some spammer using my address as their fake return address. I forwarded it to yahoo (it's a yahoo account), and nothing happened.

Thanks, I got a response from my service provider and they basically said, 'no worries, it's a pain in the ass and makes everyone sad."

Can anyone tell me why I can't view PDFs or more than half of the quicktime movies I run across in either Mozilla Firefox or IE 6 and how to fix it?

Redownload the latest Adobe Reader and make sure it installs the latest plugins, maybe.

So...due to some random circumstances, I have been checking my hotmail account recently. What a piece of shit hotmail is.

A couple of questions:

1) if you identify a sender as "not junk" why doesn't it remember it?

2) why is hotmail so bad?

As far as I can tell, Hotmail is not actually meant to be used.

I just learnt that there are very few Hotmail programmers. That might explain some stuff.
