Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Anyone ever used MythTV?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

TIVO ?

Suddenly - my TIVO won't change to certain channels - like FX, for example. The cable box will go to that channel ( with the cable remote) , so I am guessing it has to do with RF alignment ( again) . I just haven't had it work ok , except for certain channels, before. so before I play with it ( tomorrow) I thought I'd throw it up here for other ideas.

Do those numbers have sixes in them? If that's it, there's a fix.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So what's the best free hit counter that gives me useful and interesting statistics? All I'd really be interested in is the usual, IPs and referrer links. Referring search words would be cool too. Blogspot suggests:

  • Site Meter
  • Bravenet Hit Counter
  • Re_invigorate
  • FreeStats
  • Easy Hit Counters
  • StatCounter

Looks like StatCounter's got the most bang for my lack of buck.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I was trying to see how long I could go without a reboot, which is why I hadn't tried it before....

And, what was the answer?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Apple just gave the PowerBooks speed bumps, and lowered the prices: [link]

I look more rad than Lutheranism

No kidding! I got paid a large sum of money yesterday for my freelance gig, and I'm going to order my laptop this week. Am now re-thinking iBook vs. Powerbook.
