Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

If a movie is downloaded to a harddrive, and no one is there to watch it, does it still make a noise?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Maybe, but the chip would have to prevent it from downloading to the harddrive.

If a movie is downloaded to a harddrive, and no one is there to watch it, does it still make a noise?

Depends on the jurisdiction.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

the chip would have to prevent it from downloading to the harddrive

That's what I was thinking.

Hey. New board.

If those are pictures, than the "Media Centre" gives me huge wonderings about things like built-in TV out and possibly Media software...

Doesn't look like there's a TV tuner on there, unfortunately.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I could tell that those pictures were fake, even before this site confirmed it.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Ummm, I could see what Woodside was talking about without the benefit of photoshop but why should a slightly raised and slightly different colour, section on that unit, mean it's a fake?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, we'll know in two days, right?

I'm just waiting to see if PowerLogix announces their Dual G4/1.2-1.4GHz upgrade for the Cube.

Is anyone else having trouble getting into Yahoo Mail? I'm getting into Yahoo's main site fine, but the mail server keeps timing out on me.

Hmm quick Nero Express/Backitup question. Both came with my drive. I find I need to slow down write speed of my drive to make a reliable backup (which is fine - not backing up huge amount of data in any case.) With Nero expess that is easy to do. With Backitup, I can't find where you tell it to write at a slower speed. And the filters, which don't seem to exist in Express, would be handy to use. Any thoughts on how to slow down the write speed and get filters at the same time?

Thanks
