I'm thinking perhaps Michael is gay. Walt's mother was having him for Michael and Partner and decided not to hand the kid over?
Okay, yes, I'm having problems figuring out how they're going to make Michael's story interesting. Walt's story is going to be related to the island, methinks, but Michael can't only be interesting in relation to Walt. So, hmm.
I don't think Michael is gay - that's not what I head from spoilers, but I guess anything is possible.
Yeah, it is incredibly unlikely. I'm afraid
Lost
is my first show that I have absolutlely no RL people to talk about with, so I've no one to rein in my crack-fuelled theories.
I don't think a gay man would have been transfixed by Sun's boobies for, like, 20 minutes while being pursued by scary noises from the jungle. Actually, since even Boone's previously sure gayness has since been called into question, it seems that heterosexuality, like prettiness, may have been a survival factor in the crash.
But was he really transfixed by her boobies, or by the unexpected proximity of general nakedness?
I'm reaching, I know this. Okay, not gay.
Has a consensus been reached over who thwapped Sayid? I may have been thinking about it today when I should have been working. Ethan? But if Ethan is in cahoots with the people who took Rousseau's child, then why would he, or they, care if they managed to track down her signal?
To avoid having her hook up with people that could help her? Or vice versa? I'm still not 100% sure that it wasn't Locke who whapped Sayid, though.
I thought Ethan was Rousseau's child. He's too old (the actor), but perhaps the island ages people unnaturally fast.
Also, Mira Furlan freakily young-looking for a 52 year old woman. What's Mapother, 36? That's just barely possible as a mother-son age range.
Hmm, I think the casting people would be pushing it if they wanted us to believe that Ethan was Rousseau's child, though it's certainly possible.
Locke? I guess anything is possible with him. We can only assume he doesn't want to be back in the chair.
Does anyone have any theories on the babies thing? Is Walt's luck/influence perhaps an indicator that children specifically are affected by the island? Or was that something that developed before the crash? Especially considering what he quoted his 'dad' as saying? Perhaps that's why his mother took him away from Walt? Something similar to why Claire was running to L.A.?
You can tell I was
really
bored today in work, can't you?
Also, does anyone else think that perhaps the island
wanted
people camped at the caves? That perhaps that's why Jack's dad led him there?
Maybe Michael is a cyborg, and Walt is his telekinetic cyborg offspring.
(Yeah, I'm bored at work today too. Can you tell?)
