"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Lost - spoiler found elsewhere:

A very minor spoiler from theFuselage: when asked about guest stars hanging with the cast, Jorge Garcia mentioned that William Mapother came over to Matthew Fox's last night to watch the episode with them.

Since I don't think Mapother lives in Hawaii, and he certainly didn't fly there just to watch the episode, that indicates he's probably back in episode 14 or 15, which is what they'd be filming now. 14 is a Walt/Michael episode, and 15 a Jin episode I believe. At least, a while back the writers said we'd get Jin's perspective on his and Sun's story in 14 or 15.

Oh dear. I've been out of the spoiler loop lately, but I'm only just getting this news:

ALEX, the freewheeling character on "The O.C." played by Olivia Wilde, will embark on a lesbian relationship with Marissa (Mischa Barton (news)), says show creator Josh Schwartz.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Why do I think this will be a pandering, fem-on-fem, male fantasy kind of thing?

Yeah, 'cos Marissa's the gay one.

Projecting, much?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Why do I think this will be a pandering, fem-on-fem, male fantasy kind of thing?

Because, uhm, it's on FOX?

According to his interview in either Out or the Advocate recently, that's not the creator's intent. If it goes well (and by the way, OC watchers, did you all see Drew Z.'s name attached to the show? when did that happen?), it could be pretty cool.

The Alex part was the only part that was new to me. I blinked.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Me too. I like that.

Up with the sun

They're both so bony and brittle-looking, though ... but if it makes Marissa less boring, I'm all for it.

For Marissa to be less boring, she'd have to be recast. But I'm looking forward to Seth's reaction.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

that's not the creator's intent.

Hmmm. I'll hold my judgment until she cuts her hair, starts wearing DMs and performing at Drag King shows. Not that she needs to hit all the stereotypical markers, but a few cultural signifiers might be nice.
