I thought that was the plan anyway unless they write her out in such a way she can come back for a visit next season - like Robinette.
'Just Rewards (2)'
Spoilers 3: First Mutant Enemy, Now the World
[NAFDA] Spoilers for any and all currently running TV shows. All hardcore spoilage, all the time. No white font.
I hadn't heard anything about her not coming back (if they are renewed) before now so I had no idea there was a plan.
in this week's or last week's episode they mentioned she had a tumor and that they were glad it wasn't growing now (but that at her next checkup they would assess this issue).
but as I understand it, her tumor is inoperable.
I took that news from her doctor that the best she can hope for is that the tumor doesn't grow (which, to me, didn't bode well for the character).
The reports made it seem like it was her recent decision to go, but who knows?
Castle:
a little too much detail for Spoilers Lite (I think)...
Beckett will meet her new boyfriend at the gym. An upcoming May sweeps episode, titled 'Food to Die For,' will center around the murder of a former contestant on a 'Top Chef'-life series and will feature Julie Gonzalo as a high school friend of Beckett's. Gonzalo's character will be a beautiful and dynamic restaurateur who finds herself mixed up in the aforementioned murder investigation. Celeb chef Rocco Dispirito will guest star as himself in the episode.
Deadliest Catch
I'm not joking here because it's not funny. Is Phil dying on Deadliest Catch a spoiler? They ran that tribute marathon on Discovery channel with the memorial page. I don't know that I have anything to discuss, but wanted to make sure.
The thing is that he's a main captain and nothing like this has happened before so it's not something typical on the show. There was heavy foreshadowing in the promo leading into the first episode, but so far in the first episode, they haven't hinted at what is to come. I have a hard time thinking anyone that watches the show didn't know it happened though so I wanted to make sure.
Ask Ausiello re: Supernatural finale:
exec producer Sera Gamble: “We’re leading up to the big Death Match between Lucifer and Michael, which would cause the destruction of half the planet,” she previews. “Sam and Dean, of course, are trying to throw a wrench in the works — but these are the most powerful beings they’ve ever been up against, so their odds aren’t great. Sam comes up with an incredibly risky Hail Mary to defeat Lucifer, which involves spending some very creepy, violent one-on-one time with the guy. Terrible for Sam, but pretty damn fun to watch.”
Okay, I read that one out of one eye. I think it's all the spoiler I can handle. Go Sammy boy!
