...if Christ Himself shows up, he'd better be a black guy. ijs. At this point, Show has A LOT of making up to do. (Personally, if I were Cas on a mission to find God, I'd be looking thoughtfully at Morgan Freeman. And maybe Obama.)

A Supernatural source has confirmed that the ubiquitous and talented Mark Sheppard (the actor who has his own Full Employment Act) will play a "pivotal" crossroads demon named Crowley in Episode 10 of the season. The episode is called "Abandon All Hope...," and it was written by Ben Edlund and will be directed by Phil Sgriccia. It's the final "Supernatural" episode of 2009 (the show will resume its fifth season with new episodes in 2010. More than a month without "Supernatural"? Say it ain't so!). The episode is "epic" and will "definitely ... have the fans on the edge of their seats going into the holiday 'hellatus,'" my source said.

Morgan Freeman would be a great choice to play God incarnate if he hadn't already played the role in those awful comedies. I'd vote for Maya Angelou. Who can listen to her speak and not think that everything she says is exactly right?

Ah, yes. I think that's it. I wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea either. It's okay to wink at fandom, but this is more like fondling. Just tell the damn story and quit mugging for the audience.

Huh. I have never watched Supernatural so this conversation is a bit surreal. Crowley and Azazel, does Neil Gaiman work on this show? If so I'll give it a try.
