LeN, if you're in here - the only interesting thing I got out of the podcast was RDM basically admitting that Cally was fucking Hot Dog on New Caprica because they (a) needed to make Hera a special unique hybrid snowflake again and (b) need Tyrol to move in with the Cylons and don't want Nicky there with him.

oh, now that IS interesting. thanks for that tidbit.
was it a mistake to make tyrol a cylon, I wonder? or a mistake to make Cally pregnant?

I don't know if it's a mistake, so much as they made the decision to make Tyrol a Cylon later, and this was a detail they just needed to work out.
if you asked RDM he'd probably say they both seemed like good ideas at the time. But if I had to pick, it was a mistake putting him together with Cally.
Oops. Was I not supposed to post pod cast stuff in Boxed Set? I'll go white font.
I think everything you posted was fine Jen - I came in here mostly because of the Cylon ship thing.
I don't know--I think purists might balk at the knowledge that Hera needs to be unique, although she damned well was supposed to be all this time and I don't know how/why they let it slide all this time.
Another funny thing from the podcast was how RM said he wrote this as the first time Roslin and Adama had slept together, but the actors were like, "No, they've totally slept together before. Definitely on New Caprica." I'm with the actors.
Ha! I haven't listened that far yet, but yeah - first time on Galactica, maybe. First time ever? Nuh and uh.
(I was reading it as the first time she'd spent the night, as in they weren't going to hide it from the crew any more.)
spent the night in his room, maybe, but I believed he spent the night in HER room. I think he stayed with her when she was so sick.
