Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I just saw DM for the first time in the BBC production of "Our Mutual Friend." He would be an interesting Doctor. I could see him taking the danger/scariness we occasionally see in Tennant's Doctor and pushing it into darker, more unpredictable territory.

Thanks for posting about Who here, I hardly dare to write anything anywhere because of lurking spoilerphobes.

Anyway, I just thought I'd repost this from the Guardian Arts Diary:

Who will be cast as the next Doctor Who? The current rumours centre on David Morrissey, but the Diary wonders if we should be so sure. We hear rumblings that the final few actors in contention for the role are, in fact, black. About time, too - y'know, if there was a real time lord and everything, it would be a bit weird if he just happened to turn out white each time he regenerated. Meanwhile, very grand and famous actors are queuing up for bit parts as scary, ne'er-do-well aliens. The latest name angling for a role is, we hear, Vanessa Redgrave.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oooh, Colin Salmon.

I gave up on hoping he'd be the next Bond when he showed up playing some other guy in a Bond movie - but in Whoverse, there's precedent for timelords deciding to regenerate to look like someone they met. So, y'know - a girl can still hope.

God.

So much foamy goodness.

[NICK VARNER]
25ish - This clean-cut, likeable, eager-beaver FBI agent gets in the good graces of one of our heroes to help investigate a series of suspicious small-town murders. However he turns into a sinister, conniving monster able to put anyone under his spell. He gleefully incites violence between even the closest of persons...GUEST STAR (please submit all ethnicities) (23)

[DR. CARA ROBERTS]
30, This attractive, sexy, intelligent woman with a little edge...is a small-town doctor and occasional coroner who has been helping the Sheriff's office investigate a string of bizarre murders. Even though a professional, she has a touch of the femme fatal to her. She has a wild side - she's into drinking and one night stands...Think a little bit Linda Fiorentino in "The Last Seduction"...GUEST STAR (please submit all ethnicities) (9)

Meanwhile Ausiello says:

In a February episode, the Brothers Dubya get put under a spell that forces them to beat the living daylights out of each other and confront their true feelings. And in exactly that order.

I'm wondering if that's THIS episode.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I can't link from my cellphone, but Ausiello is reporting that Smallville's Lionel Luthor is going to be playing Sylar's father on Heroes.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Well, at least Sylar comes by the evil honestly. Really, when you're the offspring of the Devil and the Sparkle Motion Lady, how could it turn out otherwise?

Sarah Connor Chronicles:

From the previews--Kyle is coming back?! How are they going to reconcile this if Derek is hotter than Kyle?
