SPN: Sides for 4.5 "Metamorphosis - I haven't read alot of SPN scripts and uh, haven't read all of this snippet but "Dean" seems off somehow. (I guess that's understandable.)

And I'm not waiting for that whole thing to load before I go to bed.

Much as I like Jonas Armstrong...that seems like a David Caruso move to me. Ill-advised in the extreme.

Really? I don't know - it could be that the show has really run it's course. Killing off Maid Marian seems like a bad move. (Okay, it seems like a bad move in the context of the actual Robin Hood legend. . . but in the context of this particular show - not really such a problem.)

Good point by you. I really wonder where things are going post-Marian, what with Gisbourne's sister showing up and all.

I guess I'm reacting to the sense I've gotten in interviews that Armstrong isn't altogether happy that he took the gig in the first place despite the enormous success it's brought him.

But perhaps you are right. The shark may have been jumped already.

I saw an interview with Tom Baker where he talked about doing 4 to 5 DrW conventions per year and how "You never stop being Doctor Who." That's the kind of gig-love I like to see.

t /clearly my issue

I haven't really been reading any interviews with Armstrong. Guess that's a good idea too.

(Are you getting the impression from other castmembers/producer/director types that he is difficult? Isn't that Caruso's REAL problem?)

No, I think Armstrong is a typical LAD. Fun loving and the definition of slack. Easy going but not particularly engaged. Also, I think he thinks the role is a throw away. Unlike Richard Armitage who takes everything super seriously and yet succeeds in being infinitely grateful for the opportunity.

Caruso WAS a pita...I think mostly because he had a weak ego that allowed him to get caught up in his own press. He seems to have outgrown that, bless him.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Are you sure he's outgrown it? I've heard behind the scenes info that he is a massive pain in the ASS on the CSI:M set.

I'm sadly corrected. I was basing my thoughts on early interviews when he was groveling his way back onto the scene. Too bad.

Do we need to link to the shades videos on youtube?

It encompasses all that is wrong with that character and I blame David Caruso.

Shades videos?

I can only imagine.
