BTW, I understand that tonight's ep should have a surprising revelation about Sawyer (supposedly on the order of the Locke surprise).
I wonder if Sawyer is really southern?

I understand that tonight's ep should have a surprising revelation about Sawyer (supposedly on the order of the Locke surprise).
This is why I'm glad that Charlie's backstory was so straightforward. If they were trying to go for HSQ with everyone's story, things would get into eyerolling territory right quickly.
If the revelation about Sawyer is supposed to be surprising (to the viewing audience as a whole, anyhow), then I'm assuming that the big surprise is that he's something like an English teacher or has some other occupation that one would not normally associate with "redneck."

Good article, I liked knowing how the writers made changes because of the cast.
I'm still not seeing this as a show that can go on for too many seasons, but I think it would be hilarious if another plane crashed and brought new survivors. But I really don't ever what that to happen.

My character “Boone” is the son of a wealthy man and the brother of “Shannon” (Maggie Grace). He went to Australia to get his sister out of a situation and now finds himself stuck on the island with his sister whom he loves but at the same time there is much animosity between them.

It will be very refreshing if Hurley just went to Australia because he had lots of vacation time built up and, like, dude, Kangaroo Jack was a really cool movie.
Edited to add: I just ran across this post of Fury's, which I assume is his half-joking reply to what reads to me as a fangirl scared that her hours spent writing "Mrs. Jack Shepard" on her notebook have been all for nought.
