Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Thrive to spite them

I really like him in Murphy's Law and I've only watched the first half of the first eipsdoe of Jekyll and it's amazing how he can change between the two characters so completely.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He's very different in Cold Feet--kinda goofy and handling the muted comedy well. I am a fan now, despite failing to get the first ep of Murphy's Law that I watched.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ooo... dunno if this is old news, but I just read in a fan's ComicCon '07 report that Karen Allen has been confirmed as somehow involved in the 4th Indiana Jones movie.

Art Crawl!!!

Hasn't Steven Moffat etc denied that they were going to be involved with Who?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Yep. However, that was when Jekyll was first launching, and that turned out to be a bit of a ratings disaster. I do have a friend who works on Who, and to quote them - no RTD, no new Who. Who's still doing very well ratings wise in the UK -- it's finale this year was a good 2 million up from 2005's finale -- so I expect the BBC to keep milking that cash cow.

Also, Cold Feet is love.

Jekyll was a ratings disaster?

Interesting. I have read some unflattering impressions of it over at TWOP.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

It premiered extremely well for the BBC, but lost half it's audience for the second episode. Which means network promo worked, show didn't hook the audience. I dunno how it's done since then, in fairness.

Art Crawl!!!

One of the criticisms I read was basically that it felt like they were making it up as they went along.

I wonder, for example, how they are going to explain Jackman's incredible resemblance to the man that Jekyll was based on.

Razor is going to have original (1970s series) cylons AND original raiders.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oooh, yay!

A tidbit about S4 from Ausiello:

As Syfyportal.com already reported, three humanoid Cylon models will be completely wiped out next season. Well, I just found out (Spoiler alert) which ones are getting retired, and I can tell you they all have one thing in common: their gender. And here's another tasty morsel: the name of the 13th Colony in the Colonial Scriptures? "Cylon."
