I'm hoping that they don't do a yellowface thing because that would totally suck.
I'm hoping that they have some interesting story as to why blue-eyed blond guy is in Japan at that point.

Doctor Who companion news:
The BBC has revealed that Martha Jones, as played by Freema Agyeman will join the cast of the Doctor Who spin off Torchwood for three episodes next year.
She will then return to Doctor Who, rejoining the show in the middle of Season Four.
To replace Martha a new companion will join the Doctor, staying for the entire thirteen week run of the series.
An announcement on casting is promised very soon.
Speculation I'm reading on the new companion includes Sally Sparrow and Thomas Milligan (the pediatrician who helped Martha in the last episode). Go Sally!
Oh, nice.
I do have to say, though, in a way I hope they don't have another early 21st Century female as companion. A bloke would be good, or someone from a different period.
I like the idea of there being two companions for part of the run. That should make for some interesting dynamics.

I agree with you 100%.

Can't... comment... must... not... comment... will... get... killed!
Has anyone heard news about this?
Apparently, Ellen Muth has posted in her blog that it might go back to series if the DVD sells well enough. Looks like they've gotten the entire main cast back except Mandy Patinkin and Laura Harris.
My biggest beef about Dr. Who 2005 has been its reliance on here and right now. Too much Earth, too much oughts.
The Earth episodes are consistantly the highest rated, and the alien worlds are consistantly the lowest rated, and most expensive to produce.
