Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

What is even happening?

What "Buffy" comic? It's out? When did that happen? What is it about? SPOIL AWAY (See, I can get topical.)

It's season 8. Joss is writing it (or at least the first however many issues). It came out last Wednesday. It's called, The Long Way Home, Part I.

It's wonderful. I recapped the whole thing, here: [link] It would be an excellent tonic for whup.

You missed the Buffy Anniversary at the Beta. All kinds of people showed up over the course of the weekend (and several boards): [link] CB said you had a family commitment.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Have you left out something big at the end, perhaps?

Er, bigger than Kara coming back from the dead and 4 main characters being Cylons?

(Which is to say, no, at least not intentionally. Insert standard disclaimers about spoilers being written from memory and screeners never being the absolute final edit here.)

The evil is this way?

You missed the Buffy Anniversary at the Beta. All kinds of people showed up over the course of the weekend (and several boards): [link] CB said you had a family commitment.

I'm sorry I missed it. I did have a family thing but I would have found some time to post. Darn. I'm all sad for the old days.

It's season 8. Joss is writing it (or at least the first however many issues). It came out last Wednesday. It's called, The Long Way Home, Part I.

It's wonderful. I recapped the whole thing, here: [link]. It would be an excellent tonic for whup.

I'll read the comic and the recap soon.

I read the BSG spoilers. Wow. And next season is WAY to far off to see what this all means. (Apart from Dylan or Hendrix being the 5th Cylon. Which we knew already, didn't we?)

What is even happening?

Maybe their love child is the fifth cylon?

I think a lot of people are still popping in. When I went over to get the link to the right archived board (where it starts) I saw DarkLady had made a post at the top of the board.

Nightie.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Pish. Small things...

I'm finally watching Crossroads right now. It's good I am spoiled, I am far more interested now.

Oh. Lord. Just caught up on the Galactica spoilers:

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

Awesome. I'm TOTALLY sticking to my "the show is a black comedy" theory. Seriously, I was applauding while reading. And I know it'll piss lots of people off, but they are wrong, and I am right, because it makes me laugh and laugh. Neener.

And I'd read reactions elsewhere without the details of what they were reacting to, and they were very negative, so I was prepared for it to suck, but have I mentioned? AWESOME.

I feel so much better about everything. Because it's SO FUCKING FUNNY. Goddamn.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

SO FUCKING FUNNY. Goddamn.

Dude, I saw your "off to hunt some spoilers" post in Boxed Set and started looking for you to pop up here. Hee!

Strega - Mar 19, 2007 6:13:53 pm PDT #1946 of 3486

Aw! It was killing me to not look sooner, especially after Jessica's posts were getting linked to in my normally-spoiler-free-haunts. Damn her!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I made it over too. Hmm.
