Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

More info (a more specific description) about Ep 9:

"The survivors are not alone. Sayid is taken captive by a long-time strandee: an armed and cryptic French woman (Mira Furlan), who's alternately violent and sympathetic. The ordeal triggers painful memories for Sayid, who recalls his past as a captive interrogator". Source: TitanTV

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

WOO!

Okay, anyone got any new OC dirt, or shall I go on a spoils hunt?

le nubian:

I suspect there's at least a possibility that Hurley pointing out a guy who wasn't on the plane is a distraction from the fact the Hurley wasn't on the plane.

Though, hints that we'll get some background on Hurley eventually may indicate that he's genuine.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

There's still that bit where the creators said Hurley tells everyone he's 26. I suppose that could be a foiler, but I doubt that a guy being sensitive about hitting the big 3-0 and shaving off four years would be a major enough plot point to invite their comment.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Okay, anyone got any new OC dirt, or shall I go on a spoils hunt?

Hunt hunt hunt! After the first two eps, I'm clean. We need to fix that.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am never ever doing a ballot again.

LN, I think your ballot was perfectly fine. It made more sense than some of the things on our local ballot (including a measure to decide it we wanted a measure on the NEXT year's ballot, maybe).

That said, wise move.

Also, The OC (bitch) It looks like Caleb gets arrested, Julie becomes CEO, Seth gets a job, and, umm. Stuff. Nothing too meaty as of yet. Lots of vague stuff. I suspect there's not the network that was in place for Buffy and Angel spoilage.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

One of the couples is getting together and breaking up again. I read that in People.

Marissa will be drinking at school next week I think.
