Compassionately intolerant

Jessica...I love you.

Reading your notes is way more fun than watching the actual show. Thanks!

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

So far, they seem to be aware of the fact that this is the first season they've started with Jack not having had a full night's sleep before the show starts

I do remember in season 1, which begins at midnight, he does get progressively tireder and tireder as the season/day goes along. He takes a waitress hostage at about 9am, and is holed up with her somewhere, and nods off for 20 minutes, and she escapes.

Of course, that may be the last moment of realism in the entire series, but hey.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I hope they show hours 3-4 as a single block, because not a whole lot happens in hour 3.

I think I heard they are going what they did last year - 1 & 2 one night and 3 & 4 the next. I liked that last year - getting almost 1/5 the season in two nights made it easier for me to stick with it when I was debating dumping it. My concern this year is that if it's in its old time slot, there will be a HEROES conflict, and right now HEROES is winning my loyalty big time.

What is even happening?

Well, that's because Heroes is made of love.

But 24 is made of whispering Jack Bauer.

I think I have to go make-out with my dual-tuner TiVo.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jessica rawks hard!

Thanks so much. I couldn't finish last season "24", but I gotta see the neck biting. I mean that sounds tantalizing.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

This is potentially hardcore relative to BSG - particularly about the fate of a central character. you've been warned... This rumor has been going about for 3-4 weeks.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

All the coyness makes me think that Starbuck's going to die and then wake up in a Cylon gestation pod.

Oops, sorry - too used to the TwoP spoiler rules.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

No whitefont in the spoiler thread! Hmph.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Matt,

here's the thing...the character is being removed from the credits. So perhaps the character is dead, or will show up as a cylon, or will be kidnapped by the cylons. I just find it interesting that the name is removed from the credits.
