I forgot to mention it before, but Greg Germann leaves Eureka after the pilot. He gets replaced by a younger model, the better to be the third prong in a love triangle between Colin and the DOD woman whose name I can't remember because I didn't have time to rewatch last night. The new character is her ex-husband.

Me too, much better than the new guy. I think he was far more interesting.
But on the up side, the writing for the rest of the cast improves drastically once the show moves beyond Pilot Expositionspeak.

Okay, more S3 spoilers!
1 - Lucy Lawless has a 10-ep arc and will be a regular for the first half of S3
2 - Baltar will be spending most of the first half of the season onboard a Cylon ship. I recall the phrase "glowing spine sandwich" being tossed around.
3 - The whole reincarnation thing means that Cylons regard their human-type bodies more as amusing accessories than as their "selves," as humans do. The practical upshot of this attitude is lots of gratuitous nudity and sexual experimentation. (See above, re: glowing spine sandwich.)
4 - One of the human Cylon models will be boxed and permanently retired this season.
