Desperate Housewives (re: Star mag article and speculation concerning above post)...

Talk is flying that the catfights between Teri Hatcher and Nicolette Sheridan aren't only in the scripts of "Desperate Housewives." Word is leaking off the set that the actresses don't like each other and are butting egos. Apparently, Sheridan, 40, coveted the role of Susan Mayer, which Hatcher, 39, eventually got. Sheridan instead plays the slutty Edie Britt, but insisted that character appear regularly rather than be a one-time guest role.

One person tells Star magazine that Sheridan's been dissing Hatcher -- saying she's too skinny and unattractive. Another insider says Hatcher may go further. Star says some of the other actresses see Sheridan as an "outsider" who's "too vocal." Sounds mutual: "It seems like Nicolette doesn't like the rest of the cast either," says its source.

So...sounds to me like NS's character will be the one offed...

Claire has a horrible nightmare about her new baby being harmed or kidnapped which she believes is real. Flashbacks reveal Claire's backstory of the former boyfriend that got her pregnant and abandoned her and the psychic who convinced her to take the ill-fated flight that lands her on the island. Lastly, Hurley is shocked and confused when he discovers that Ethan, another plane crash survivor, does not appear on the flight manifest.

So...is this the person JJA was referring to when he said all the survivors were not on the plane?

[Desperate Housewives] I was figuring it would be someone in the family of the chick who died. But maybe that'd be too much.

[Desperate housewives] do they count as major characters? I am hoping for Terri Hatcher's character, because she bugs me.

[Desperate Housewives] She bugs me too, but I think she'd be the last to go. I think they're more major than Edie, and more central to the mystery. Maybe it'll be Carlos.

On the WW Teri Polo has been cast as Jimmy Smits wife and on the OC Kim Delaney has been cast for a few episodes as a former flame of Sandy Cohen.
