Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I doubt anyone here actually cares about Desperate Housewives (I wouldn't watch it if weren't a timekiller before Grey' Anatomy which I need in real time), but I read here: [link] that Gabrielle will be boffing Lynette's husband, which just seems a needless destruction of goodwill.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

This development may in fact drive me from the show.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Such fun, so terribly squandered.

I actually like Lynette and her husband. They're the only ones I do.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, the one relationship that's been sound on a basic level despite fights and ex-girlfriend woes is Lynette and Tom's marriage. If Tom and Gabrielle have an affair, I say they should get full custody of the demonspawn.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I was hoping the scene of them kissing was a mislead. This season has not lived up to last season at all, imho.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Now I'm wondering -- did they change Kane's "Frack me" to "frack you" just in the promo, or for the ep itself? Hmm.....

I also just found out that the Adama/Roslin kiss at the end of next week was improv, which totally explains the look on her face. (Just wanted to mention it before I forgot!)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

And I was thisclose to posting "Well, except that they blew it up..." in the main thread just now.

There was a rumor a while ago about Roslin being cured with Cylon stem cells, but I can't remember if it was printed anywhere reliable.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jessica,

despite reading your spoilers above earlier, I forgot who shot Cain. The clip for next week reminded me of this, of course.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I just went on spoiler fix and read the following about "Desperate Housewives":

he ABC show's creator, Marc Cherry, says Marcia Cross' character - who became a widow following her husband's poisoning and then watched her flipped-out fiance die of an overdose - isn't reacting well to changes. "We're starting her descent into alcoholism," Cherry tells TV Guide. He says there are some alcohol-fueled moments with her fellow housewives where "it gets pretty ugly." "When Bree has tension, she grabs a glass," he says. "Chart it back and you'll see so many moments where she just goes for the wine."

I must admit the above gives me more fortitude in sticking to my decision not to continue to watch the show. I heard about Gabrielle and Tom having an affair this season and now this? Whew.
