A while back, as a joke, I suggested that inside the hatch was another hatch and then another, Russian doll-like. However, what we find inside the Hatch of Mystery, is the Thing Interred in the Concrete of Mystery. Come the end of this season is there going to be a Shoe Box of Mystery inside the concrete? Or will they not keep us hanging for an entire season before they admit they haven't got a fecking clue what's inside the concrete?

I don't think two hatches is any less likely than one, really. Maybe there were 2 experiments running.
