We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

540 days. Divided by 5 equals 108. Does it matter?

Ha, I was just coming here to post the same thing. So orientation = brainwashing, huh?

Damn it. I'm not even sure what I missed. I knew I should have been taping. I'ma have to do that starting next week. There's just too much happening sometimes.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Why not just have a program that enters the numbers automatically every 108 minutes, with a couple of people on-site to check on it?

So, DX, is that a confirmation that it was Katie Sag...?

Yup.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

B.F. Skinner, hmmm? Sounds like an experiment about operant conditioning. Pretty fucked up if you ask me.

I was going to say that -- as soon as the film guy mentioned Skinner, I wondered if this isn't just some fucked-up experiment to see if people will do what they're told, and for how long.

Also, no wonder Desmond looks like shit -- for 3 YEARS, he hasn't been able to sleep for more than 108 minutes at a time.

Actually, is that physically possible? Wouldn't he go buggy? (Well, okay, he IS pretty buggy, but still -- I mean total break-from-reality buggy.)

That's why I'm thinking it's an experiment on human behavior. Tell someone it's the "end of the world" and they'll tolerate the most outrageous bullshit.

Our wings are not tired.

Cast: Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Naveen Andrews, Emilie de Ravin, Matthew Fox, Jorge Garcia, Maggie Grace, Josh Holloway, Malcolm David Kelley, Daniel Dae Kim, Yoon-jin Kim, Evangeline Lilly, Dominic Monaghan, Terry O'Quinn, Michelle Rodriguez, Henry Ian Cusick, Kevin Tighe, Curtis Jackson, Katey Sagal, Roxie Sarhangi .

Yeah, poor Desmond is seriously sleep deprived.

I seriously heart Helen. Definitely a Helen/Locke shipper, now.

I wondered the same thing, Steph, about sleep dep.

My friend D is speculating that Katie has had plastic surgery. I don't think she has - just looks different with the lack of Peg Bundy make-up.

lack of Peg Bundy make-up.

Lack of most make-up. I've seen pictures of her in her "preferred" hair and face, very young looking and chic. No resemblence to Peg or Helen.
