So, whatever. I may cancel my season pass to LOST and just switch over to VM, anyway.
I don't know about in your area, but some UPN affiliates are rerunning VM on Saturdays. That's how I'm managing for now. It may change in the future. I'm giving
Lost
a little time.
Oh poo. Javier Grillo-Marxuach must have removed or locked down the controversial LJ entry. That's what I get for being better at procrastinating than at being nosy.
Maybe Archive.org caught it. Or do they mine LJ?

Here's a Lost poll. I realize that I don't have much in common with the LJ Lost fandom based on the results.
From upthread:
1. Your theory on the function of Desmond's computer: now.
Desmond has to enter the numbers at regular timed intervals to prove that he is not infected with the mysterious sickness. My guess is that if the numbers aren't entered the place would be gassed.
would the place be gassed...or does he BELIEVE the place will be gassed.
I'm wondering if Hurley (or another castaway) will say something like "Dude. It's an Apple II. Why don't you just write up a short program to send the sequence at the proper intervals?"
Unless it's self-imposed, I guess.
Re: Theo's post in Press about the preemption for baseball tonight: is that just a Boston-area thing, or will it hold true for Western Mass. as well, do you think?
I think it'll only be within the Boston market. The ABC affiliate in Providence is still listing Lost on their website.
The reason it got switched was because the game is on ESPN, not Fox, so they'll broadcast it over the air locally so hometown fans without cable can watch it.
Folks in Chicago may want to check their listings, too.
Folks in the Bay Area have no reason at all to expect any viewing delays due to baseball.
