Bananas and/or coconuts:
was the word "Quarantine" on the inside of the hatch door? meaning...is it possible that they were quarantining themselves from the island?
I knew I forgot to mention something! Why was it inside? That was odd. It had to be, too, or they would have seen it -- especially considering all the time Locke spent staring soulfully at the Hatch of Destiny.
Because he was nosy, pushy, and kind of bossy?
And because, in spite of his being a character we'd see again, presumably with his own agenda, every single one of his lines was All About What Jack Needed To Hear, and characters like that irritate me. Putting a gun to Locke's head is much more interesting than reciting the theme of the episode to the main character.

I do wonder what helping Jack, or whatever he was doing, plays into his agenda. But I wonder more why he's holding a gun to Locke's head, 'tis true. If he is the same he. Or even if not.
Locke probably hit "Execute," and Desmond said, "Okay!"
I wonder if Desmond considers Locke a threat?
That ain't crazy, btw.
Yes, yes - I did say
OK, maybe he's not crazy.
He could just be protector-y or something. But of what? Dun dun DUN.
A little toy airplane tugboat.
I think Walt was whispering "there's no one," which was creepy as hell.
The BF says it looks like Desmond is typing the numbers, at least according to slow-framing the teaser.
Not a bad ep, I am shocked - shocked, I tell you! - that we got inside the hatch so soon.
