After the season finale last year, DH announced, "That's it! We're not watching that show anymore!" Needless to say, we watched tonight.
JJA shows work much better when promises for answers are treated as cute rather than, well, real. The idea of the man ever creating an internally consistent mythology is charming, but not likely.
Still, it's fun to watch.
I amused myself during the episode by making fun of Leader!Jack's Extreme Leaderliness. (And couldn't help finishing Kate's "If you wern't here..." with "then I'D be in charge, like in the original pilot! Damn you!")
had my gall bladder out the old-fashioned way
Though I know it's not what you mean (and in no way do I intend to make light of your pre- or post-op pain), this made me think
bottle of whiskey and a bullet to bite on.
Was Desmond really in the stadium with Jack?
Oh, interesting. So maybe Des (I don't think he'd mind) can project the way Walt can? Only much, much better, because - with the touching. I don't think I'm there yet, but - interesting.
Maybe Desmond's the result of a cloning experiment gone horribly wrong.
The opening montage made me wish he was being played by Christian Bale.
Maybe Desmond's the result of a cloning experiment gone horribly wrong.
Great, and we get the crazy clone instead of the charming clone. How is that fair? (OK, maybe he's not crazy.)
Is it possible that they all have met Desmond?
Well, to be fair, I'd have picked the crazy one to be locked in the hatch too. (Also, I thought the one in the stadium was kind of a tool.)
Somewhere, sometime, somehow, we all meet Desmond.
Is it possible that they all have met Desmond?
I'm definitely anticipating his showing up in future flashbacks.
was the word "Quarantine" on the inside of the hatch door? meaning...is it possible that they were quarantining themselves from the island?
That's what I thought, tiggy.
