ASH sang "Redemption Song" when he was playing a upper-middle-class, divorced 50-year old with a model fetish on Manchild. The other characters (two white, one black) recognized it, and didn't seem surprised that he knew it. Although they did seem surprised that he identified strongly with it.
I wasn't particularly surprised to hear Sawyer singing it.

I know they filmed it, but will they show it every X-mas?

Interesting.
"They are unbelievably positive, exciting, passionate and loving fans," she said. "When you hit a winner in the sci-fi world, they just follow."
But there's a downside. "When you cancel something, oh my Lord," she moaned. "They can be your best friends. And they can be a nightmare if they think you did them bad."

Poor Bonnie. Still smarting from the Farscape cancellation. heh.
Of course, she had to announce that Farscape was too complicated for her husband to follow.... oops.
She should be thanking her lucky stars that the SG-1 producers are employing the leads of Farscape and bridging the schism between the two fandoms .
