I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I got that link right after I clicked Hurley's numbers (row numbers). Whatever pops up turned into that website.

ita, that link was HILARIOUS. How many times I typed "plugh" - I'll never know.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Lost a la Infocom.

That is absolutely beautiful. The "no tea" bit was just icing on the cake.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Deconstruction written before Arzt's vent to Hurley. In fact, he got dropped a note from someone on the writing staff saying "Hilarious! You will see this addressed soon!"

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

DAYS LATER: The other survivors huddle around a fire and a shelter dubbed the "Rosencrantz".

Heh. Now I want a scene that starts with some of the anonymous survivors flipping a coin. Heads. Heads. Heads...

Holloway Muses on 'Lost' Finale

No spoilers that I am aware of

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Okay, they must have used some kind of brain-dampening subliminal signal on the finale broadcast. It's only now occurred to me that the Lostaways couldn't think of any reason to risk carrying excess dynamite beyond that needed to break into potential shelter from the hostile people that the crazy lady said would kill them all. Not one of them even briefly considered that if you have an unknown number of people that might be attacking you, a few sticks of dynamite could be directly useful for more than blowing hinges off doors.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

And yet, Matt, you're still smarter than any of them. Well, at least than any of the main characters. There seems to be some level of smart among the other Castaways.

Our wings are not tired.

Sharp-eyed viewers may have noticed something about the people on the boat, but if not, Holloway says, "There were twins, which I don't know if you could tell. They were identical twins, which was really spooky. There again, that wasn't emphasized."

I just clicked the link for the pretty, but this was interesting. His discussion of hugs with Foxy was kinda cute.
