And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I liked the finale and Thin Red Line. I win!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Alex is a girl, though. Not that they necessarily knew that.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Maybe there aren't that many of them, and, while an all-out attack would work, there would be too much danger of one of them dying, whichis mroe than they can really afford.

I'm not convinced that Danielle isn't wrongfully grouping multiple groups into "the Others"

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

A friend of mine thinks that Walt is just the latest in a series of young children stolen by the Others. We know of Alex, but Ethan could have been Alex's predecessor, and the line might stretch back further than that (maybe the slaves on the Black Rock included some children).

for sacrifice? for slave labor?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

It looked to me like the person who threw whatever it was that blew up the raft was female, and therefore maybe Alex. Could anyone tell for sure?

I saw a female, but she looked to be older than 16.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Never mind-- didn't see the edit in time.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

(I edited my speculation once I remembered that we already know that Alex is/was a girl--forgot that was verified by Rousseau.)

I agree, Debet.
