Which, honestly, sucks more for VM than The Inside ever could.
Well UPN renewed VM when the ratings were sucky, so they obviously want it, and have faith, but putting it up against Lost seems a strange decision.
Personally I'm finding it difficult regaining the Lost interest after the five year hiatus.
They might not have planned to put it up against "Lost." Didn't ABC change "Lost's" timeslot?
It could be that UPN may change the timeslot now.
Bwah! Happily, I enjoyed "Born to Run" enough to get me back in the groove the last couple of weeks. But you make a valid point. Note to JJ Abrams: start show in November next season.
Well, they meant to give it the lead-in from ANTM, so I think that they did that on purpose.

Being an ignorant Brit i need to ask, is that a good thing for VM?
ANTM is apparently one of UPNs top ratings earners.
Okay, that's a good thing then.
Ta.
Also, ANTM attracts a young and female demographic that might well stay tuned for VM, so that's good too. It's not a case of Angel's leadin being that dreadful show about the preacher's family....
Well, except that dreadful show is the WB's top ratings earner . . . so hard to believe.
Would there be a clue in the Tracy character's name? Rousseau said, "Montand lost his arm." Or maybe it was Montain.
Okay according to IMDb, Tracy's character was John J. Macreedy. Hee!
Also, I think the island is Pitcairn, and the others are descendants of Bounty mutineers.
