[They made a very deliberate point of telling us where Michelle Rodriguez's character was sitting in the back of the plane. Rose's husband was at the back of the plane. Boone heard "We're the survivors..." You see where I'm going I'm sure.

It makes perfect sense. I was wondering how they were going to handle next year, wouldn't it get old when they started getting into character's 5th and 6th flashbacks? If they rotated new characters in, they'd have new opportunities for new flashbacks. It's almost a necessity.]

Anthony some folks were already speculating about the rear-of-the-plane survivors upthread, so I don't think white font is necessary.

And, I definitely think we'll see those folks eventually.

I was actually kinda annoyed at the character introduction, if only because we didn't get any of it until just now. Which feels more like asspull than elegant foreshadowing, what with the possible change to the audio track on the "we're the survivors" bit and all.

Also, if we're going that way, where the freak is Rose? I don't need to see Arzt, but I wouldn't mind Rose just strolling through the background occasionally. Yeah, I know.

But it was fun to see all the extras again. Has anyone been keeping track of them?

Wasn't the loss of Rose due to actual stuff in the Rose-Actor's life -- like a nice theatre-gig, rather than the producers choosing to not deal with that character?

Huh, I only caught part of the bit about someone losing an arm (or was it hand). Was that in relation to the black rock? If so, that's gotta be a reference to the movie.

Spencer Tracy's character has only one arm in Bad Day at Black Rock.
