Trust my rage

Okay, the only thing that made me cry was the dog. This is why I could never give up my dogs for anyone.

Red hair and black leather--my favorite color scheme.

It was nice seeing how people had changed from pre-island to post-island--Shannon, Jin and Sun, Walt and Michael.

And I'm glad they ended on a positive note, and not a cliffhanger.

Because books.

Oh my God, I am such a sucker for faithful animal stories. Goddamn dog broke me. But the Sun/Jin scene was lovely, as well as Sawyer looking back at the island, presumably for Kate.

HEY! That's not a rock!!! I've been so very, very misdirected!!

My first thought was that maybe it's the name of the ship. Danielle seems strange enough not to mention that when referring to the mysterious Black Rock.

Either that or she really has just plain lost every lost marble.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

My first thought was that maybe it's the name of the ship.

That's what the nameplate on the back of the ship said.

Did it really? Well, go me. I didn't even notice that!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

And I'm glad they ended on a positive note, and not a cliffhanger.

They're probably saving that for next week.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Man, I started crying when Sawyer told Jack about his dad, and I didn't stop for the rest of the fucking episode. Because then you had Walt giving the dog to Shannon, and Sun/Jin, and then everyone saying goodbye....yeah, I was a mess.

I might be a sucker for manipulative storytelling, but when Rousseau told the group about seeing the pillar of smoke and then the creepy people taking her baby, and then in the next scene we saw a pillar of smoke -- it creeped me the fuck out. I thought that was really effective.

I so totally expected Science Teacher to get eaten. I was almost disappointed when he didn't.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I so totally expected Science Teacher to get eaten. I was almost disappointed when he didn't.

There's always next week.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Anyone notice who wrote this episode? It was very good, all the backstories were short and to the point. Very effective.

Nah. It just won't be the same.
