"There are two sorts of people in the world: those who believe Joss Whedon is a genius and those who are wrong." - Connie Ogle, Miami Herald

Yeah, I was aware of the fact I didn't have a happy, cheerful face on and felt badly about that.

Chalk it up to exhaustion. I worked overnight Thursday despite an early Friday morning flight, got a few hours of sleep on the plane, then it was "go, go, go" from the minute I landed until I flew out Monday morning. I wouldn't trade the whirlwind nature of the weekend for anything else, though.

Socializing also isn't a strong spot of mine and it takes me a while to warm up.

ita looked at me funny when I requested a photo. (And of course, I had the unfortunate timing of having to swap out my batteries at that very moment.) But how could people like eirefaerie and I resist taking photos when the Hottie Security Team™ was present?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I krav with some very nice people. Also bugfuck crazy, but very very nice. I will be sure to pass on your thanks, Allyson.

Oh, and just so you know, B was full of plans for next year. I think Serenity might be a go on our end.

Hiddensky, yes, I did. And I apologise! It's just ... dude ... people taking pictures of us? Takes getting used to.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

omigod, he was planning next year? Ha! I was worried that you all were bored because everyone was so gracious and chill.

Not a problem, I know I caught you a bit off guard.

Here's my pic of the Hottie Security Team™.

Hee. HiddenSky, you should post that at The Fuselage. I was just waxing poetic about the security team. Javier Grillo-Marxauch asked me if there was in fact a Hottie Security Team company of sorts. I think ita can make millions on this.

I can totally come up with a fine marketing plan.

You know, ita, it's times like this I'm just really grateful to my head for sending that random e when you were on your way out of Michigan. It's like, fate, or something.

ETA: Which isn;t to say you ever owe me. Gah. It's not about that. It's just, hey, that was a random crossroad, and now, you're in charge of the World's Hottest Security Team and I get to bask in that glow.

Make me rich, Allyson. Make me rich.

For the record, there were four of us -- Polgara has group shots, right, and so does the photographer guy, right?

I'm always grateful, but at times like this it's a sweet and hilarious feeling.

Yes. I saw the group pics. They're amazing, actually. I like the one with my tiny fists of rage, but then, I would.
