This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

No, no, no, Cash! It's not that bad. Like I said, there's different types of VoC. The one for kids is based more on the individual type. It's predicated on traditional roles. Moms have the VoC because of positional authority. Kids follow it because they have to. Even if you don't have an innate VoC. As they get older, they may start bucking your VoC to test you, but they'd do that no matter which type VoC you're using. You'll do fine. Awareness of it's existence is the most important point in developing it. And, as Deena said, you can develop one.

Now tagless for your comfort.

OK, as long as it's something I can learn. Maybe Owen will just be a naturally compliant kid.

Hahahahahahahaha.

Cash, a lot of children's adherence to the VoC once they become a more reasoning creature is out of love, not because you compel them. The most important thing is to develop a loving relationship, the VoC is not the most important thing to have except for when they are so young they may endanger themselves and you need it to keep them safe.

Our wings are not tired.

It looks more like I would imagine crack looks. I don't think I've actually seen a picture of crack to be sure. Or heroin, now that I think about it.

I love Deena.

I hope his dad really was in that coffin.

I am positive they showed the wrapped dead dad in the bushes near the coffin after the chopping scene. Jack just didn’t see it. It was a very dark scene, but they did show a body. Or I could be on crack, or smack.

I love this show, love that we have a dedicated thread, and am ready to arm wrestle for the Sayid. I’m using my motherly authority voice here.

::settles in to watch the women wrestle over Sayid::

Oh. Arm wrestle, huh? That's a little less fun.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I did not know that heroin is brown, but I do want to see Charlie when the heroin runs out. Soon.

I love Laura! yay!

I would offer to arm wrestle for Sayid, but I'm...um.. (not a wimp) leaving the delusions for you people since he's really mine.

Puts on skimpy bikini and jumps into mud to amuse Sean.
