I am home. I am tired.
Quite a few people asked if The World's Hottest Security Team is actually, like, a real security firm type thing. One of the writers thought they were in fact a security firm who only hired unbelievably hot people.
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

VIP! I knew everything I saw on tv was real!
Hee!
In honesty, the guys had their pictures taken more than once -- sometimes with their participation, sometimes stealth-like. There was oohing, and also ahhing. It was very funny.
Allyson -- it was a great party.
I'm trying to articulate why I thought it was "better" than W&H. I think it was more remarkable, maybe, not better, so much. Because the fandom's kinda young and unformed. Because, despite Fury, you're just some chick to JJ.
I know I only know a fragment of the crap and complications that went on backstage -- I think the rest of your guests knew even less, and wouldn't believe you if you told them.
The show folk looked excited to be there (apparently, part of the reason it was slow getting DDK and HP out of the VIP room was that there were other show folk they were meeting for the first time) and DDK and HP looked touched and honoured to boot. JJ -- he seemed even more touched.
The guys were patient with the fans (who looked great and didn't need that much securing).
The decor was really nice, the bear a coup.
I think it was just great.

They aren't? Which part of the sentence isn't true?
ita. thank you. seriously, i just feel really secure with you guys there, and I know you do it for too little.
I knew it went well when I woke up this morning and felt good about it all, no nagging feelings about what could have gone better.
I loved the DVD, the best, I think. The producers filmed the cast saying hello to the fans, saying they wished they could celebrate with us.
It included the dog, barking up a storm, with lots of subtitles. I need to watch it at home, I missed so much of it. Kristen made a screensaver slide show of hundreds of LOST screenshots that played on a movie screen in the background all night, it was gorgeous.
The room was full of stargazer lillies floating in glass bowls with floating candles, and the lighting people beamed island pictures on the walls. There was chicken satay with veggies grilling, so the room just smelled fantastic. Plus. the $22,000 stuffed polar bear was a huge hit for pictures. We named her Sally. PETA is so going to picket us.
Bask. You earned it.
Allyson, it sounds like an awesome party planned by great hostesses.

This sounds absolutely lovely. I'm so glad it went so well -- and I so wish I could have been there. I swear, if I ever have a big party, I'ma hire Allyson and Kristen to organize it.
Oh! And! I got to have a microphone! And I had a CAPTIVE AUDIENCE!
Also, for pre-party, Maya hired a sound designer to have actors do those airport announcements in between songs, so that as people were sitting in the "pre-flight" lounge with their cocktails, a woman's voice would come over the intercom and say, "Paging John Locke. John Locke, please pick up the nearest white courtesy phone..."
Which was loved. And our deejay on Saturday mixed Leavin' on a Jet Plane with Bob Marley.
Leeeeavin on a jet plane...everting's gonna be alright, everting's gonna be alright...don't know when I'll be back again...
And! And I probably shouldn't say this, but am gonna, because it was just so awesome.
We didn't expect HP or DDK to come, it was a surprise we learned about on Friday night and then DDK on Saturday an hour before.
So of course, the entourages caused the bar bill to exceed expectations, causing us great worry. But the show picked up the whole tab. Just said, "hey, the fans buy these drinks, give us the bill, we're honored to be here."
And that happened quietly, with no fanfare.
The night before, one of the producers stopped by the gathering of fans who went bowling on his way home from a party, and picked up their tab.
It was just this amazing amount of graciousness. Very honored to have been there and had a hand in making it happen.
Oh! And we made gift bags for all the attendees. Our friend Maeline got licensing for three of the songs on the show, so we were able to burn a CD for each of the attendees as a souvenir. Also in the goodie bags were a Snickers bar, a bottled water, Lost energy drink (Hansen's donated six cases), Popgurls bookmarks, a tv guide with evangeline lilly on the cover, and the weekend program.
We raised over 5K for Children's Defense Fund.
Harold Perrineau wins "best entrance into a party, evah." He burst into the room and hit the dance floor, dancing with fans.
Greg Grunberg got on the phone to a fan or two who couldn't make it when passed random cells.
